What I use
A short, slowly-growing list of the things in my tack room, feed room, and notebook that have earned their place. I only list what I'd put on my own horses, and I'll always tell you plainly if something's a partnership.
The thing I keep muttering about building
Keeping Harvey's record by hand taught me how much a horse's life slips away when it lives in a binder, a vet's inbox, and someone's memory. Marshall's whole history lives in my memory — and that's a fragile place to keep something that matters. So I'm slowly building Horse Passport: a portable record of a horse's whole life, in one place. It's early, and it grew out of this journal rather than the other way around.
